Lynoslife formulate and manufacture a wide range of cosmetic products at their facility in Claremorris, Co. Mayo.

Job Description

This is a support role based primarily within the engineering team and there may be a requirement to help in other areas such as Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, from time to time. The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Assisting with the set-up and support of the filling operation, label/COMBO/code changes.
  • Cleaning and sanitisation of all associated equipment and the completion of all relevant cleaning documentation.
  • Maintaining working area in a clean and safe manner.
  • Assisting with the commissioning of new equipment/projects.
  • Working in other areas such as Warehouse & Manufacturing when there is an obvious need.
  • Completing all tasks in compliance with procedures and in accordance with Safety, Quality, GMP and production schedule requirements.
  • Taking accountability for area performance ensuring daily task are carried out.
  • Working with support functions - incl. Engineering, NPI, CI & Quality teams - to maximise Manufacturing Productivity and Performance.
  • Maintaining equipment in excellent condition ensuring consistent quality, output, and yield.
  • Carrying out the recycling of cardboard and plastic, and disposal of waste.
  • Keeping the Production floor and other areas clean and placing all not in use equipment in the designated equipment location.
  • Keeping record of spare parts and consumables and reporting any shortages to the department head.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Proven ability to use initiative and “think outside the box”
  • An interest in Engineering/ general mechanics is desirable

This is a 39 hour a week role – Monday to Friday – day shift only.
