We are currently looking for a (Junior) Risk Manager role to support our growing operations in the Risk Management department. The (Junior) Risk Manager will report to the Team Head Real Assets based in Luxembourg.


Job Specification
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of risk models for alternative asset funds (e.g. incl. PE, VC, RE, Infrastructure, Debt);
  • Analyze target investments and fund structures to ensure adequate coverage within the applicable risk framework;
  • Monitor and report according to defined internal standards and processes and in line with regulatory requirements;
  • Prepare and monitor Risk Profiles;
  • Contribute to projects (e.g. on-boarding of new funds, implementation of new regulatory requirements, process improvements);
  • Interact and build strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g. clients, portfolio managers, auditors);
  • Represent the risk department on various occasions.
  • Escalate any issues to the Team Head Real Assets based in Luxembourg.


Skills Required

  • University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. finance, mathematics, economics);
  • Good with numbers, analytical and persistent with the eye for the detail;
  • First professional experience in the field of risk management will be considered as an asset;
  • Interest in alternative asset strategies. First knowledge and understanding of alternative asset strategies is considered an advantage;
  • Strong willingness to enhance personal knowledge about alternative investment products and fund structures;
  • Good command of MS Office (especially Excel);
  • Curiosity and desire for new challenges as well as agility, stress-resilience and flexibility;
  • High self-motivation with strong ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative;
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
