We are currently looking for a Respiratory Specialist to support our National Sales Team

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of territory sales volume, market share and growth objectives.
  • To offer value and SME beyond the molecule to both secondary and primary care HCP’s, specifically appropriate patient pathways, best clinical practice, linkages between secondary care, primary care and the community specialist ambulatory care centres or “hubs”.
  • Responsible for positively influencing and shaping local understanding of and alignment to the national objectives of the chronic disease management programme within their assigned territory.
  • Takes ownership and accountability for a territory budget, plan and execution within their territory to realise their mission.
  • Executional and operational excellence of those plans, ensuring strategic alignment and a thorough return on both time and financial investment for the budget deployed.
  • Development, refinement, and execution of excellent key account management plans for priority secondary care accounts and community specialist ambulatory care centres.
  • Seeks to partner strategically with regional and national KEE’s, representative bodies, always aspiring for strategic alignment to realise their mission on territory.
  • Is accountable for business-to-business selling, at secondary care level in particular.
  • Is accountable for and proactively collaborates to realise territory omnichannel strategy

Other responsibilities:

  • Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory
  • Stay in sync with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.

Day to day expectations:

  • Operates with an entrepreneurial drive and the attitude of a Small/Medium Sized Enterprise owner, deploying their own resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Always follows the science and using evidenced based clinical arguments to support their business objectives and goals, always putting the patient first and foremost within those discussions with their territory partners.
  • Is not only a clinical SME authority but also a systemic (end to end from presentation to discharge/maintenance), infrastructural and policy subject matter authority so as to supply beyond the molecule.
  • Works in close collaboration with their territory partner in the mirrored BU territory and closely also with the dedicated secondary care CV team to realise alignments and to fully join the dots.
  • Proactively supports the work of our corporate affairs lead to ensure that our corporate affairs objectives to become a valued partner aligned to and enabling delivery to the ambition of the chronic disease management programme are met.
  • Always does the right thing and adheres to the spirit and the commitments of AZ Values and the IPHA code of practice.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, agility and the ability to change as their business needs evolve and as the company goals/business evolve.
  • Seeks to identify, development and mobilise chronic disease and brand authorities across their territory.

Essential for the role:

  • Business and/or science qualification to degree level.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Self-starter, problem solver, responsible for their own actions/result
  • Strong scientific background and a digital savviness
