We are recruiting a number of Allianz Apprentices to join our business in 2023 and to commence the III/Atlantic Technological University Sligo Apprenticeship programme. The Opportunity
In line with the Apprenticeship guidelines, Apprentices may be assigned to various departments throughout the business: Allianz Direct (Customer Service and Sales), Claims or Underwriting.
You will become an integral part of the team, while also undertaking the relevant insurance exams (APA and CIP) and a Level 8 degree in Business Studies through ATU Sligo. You will have the opportunity to build your career with the Allianz group, who employ over 140,000 people in over 70 countries worldwide and over 550 people at our location in Elm Park, Dublin 4. Post an initial training period, you will be part of a team that recognises the strength of collaboration and prides itself on high performance while working in a flexible hybrid working model. Working closely with your colleagues in a fun, challenging and dynamic team, you will receive extensive introduction to insurance training, consistent development to hone your skills and ongoing performance coaching to support your success.
Responsibilities will very dependent on the business area assigned, but may include the following:

• Quote, convert, renew and maintain general insurance policies for new and existing customer
• Process Claims, ensuring information is logged accurately and in full
• Service our customers via inbound and outbound telephone calls, emails and general administration
• Consistently demonstrate our high customer service standards by ensuring a high level of customer engagement and meeting and exceeding customer expectations whilst acting with integrity
• Proactively anticipate customer issues and taking appropriate action
• Continually improve quality and efficiency within the team
• Adhere to company quality and underwriting standards
• Comply with the Financial Regulator’s Minimum Competency Code, Consumer Protection Code and any other relevant regulations
• Participate in the achievement of individual and departmental targets and objectives
• Engaging fully in Inclusive Leadership sessions with your manager, having a proactive approach to learning and development

The Apprenticeship programme is a work based learning programme and requires timely submission of on the job assessments, attendance at and successful attainment of ATU Sligo and CIP exams as part of the programme.

• To be considered for the Allianz Apprenticeship, applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements as set out by the III/ATU Sligo, and will demonstrate the Allianz People Attributes at interview.
