Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care Division Donegal
The Abbott Diabetes Care division based in Donegal Town manufactures FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre system
The Processor is chiefly responsible for carrying out direct operations in Material Handling and Manufacturing thereby ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance.
Major Responsibilities Include;
- Operating production equipment
- Solution Preparation.
- In Process Inspections.
- Writing/providing input for operating procedures
- Computer data inputting
- Materials/warehouse support
- Performing Data Entry, Receiving Inventory and Cycle Counting
- Meeting customer requirements through the arrival and transfer of material in a timely and accurate manner
- Improving Environmental, Health and Safety performance in the plant
Education and Years Experience:
- Educated with a second level qualification, similar experience an advantage.
