We are currently looking for a Brand Manager in the CVRM (Cardiovascular, renal and metabolic) Therapies To proactively stimulate, support, shape, and champion best-in-class clinical practices in chronic disease management.

Main duties and responsibilities

To develop, localise, implement and complete excellence of the area brand campaign in the local market. The Brand Manager will work with key clinical advocates including Specialists, and lead GPs to ensure implementation of brand strategy along with collaborating with key partners including Business Unit Director, FLSM CVRM, IBEX, Franchise Manager HF/Ondexxya, Medical Teams, and Sales Teams to implement the single brand plan and practice change at scale.

Deliverables include key marketing campaign items e.g. omnichannel marketing content assets, promotional campaign material, remote detail material, service items, training support, meetings support material, materials development, approval, production and distribution.

To offer value and SME beyond the molecule to both secondary and primary care HCP’s, specifically appropriate patient pathways, best clinical practice, linkages between secondary care, primary care and the community specialist ambulatory care centres or “hubs”. Responsible for positively influencing and shaping local understanding of and alignment to the national objectives of the chronic disease management programme. Main accountabilities

The role broadly includes the following key components:

  • Tactical delivery, localisation and execution of the marketing plan across channels and touchpoints.
  • Uses insight to build audience personas that shape the content and message matrix required for omnichannel customer experiences.
  • Drives the content creation engine to deliver engaging, immersive content across channels.
  • Leads the asset approval and compliance process with cross functional partners.
  • External engagement with key partners, influencers and decision makers.
  • Uses insights and performance data to ensure tactical execution.
  • Seeks to partner strategically with regional and national KEE’s, representative bodies, always targeting for strategic alignment to realise the mission

Other responsibilities will include:
  • Works with Business Unit Director to develop area campaign material in line single brand plan.
  • Works in collaboration with cross functional team to complete single brand plan
  • Is not only a clinical SME authority but also a systemic (end to end from presentation to discharge/maintenance), infrastructural and policy subject matter authority so as to supply beyond the molecule
  • Coaches and delivers effective performance by creating a supportive work environment where everyone can fulfil potential.
  • Works collaboratively with Medical & Healthcare Affairs teams: Medical Excellence/Medical Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Legal, HR and Finance

Crucial for the role

  • Significant pharmaceutical commercial experience with a strong performance track record.
  • Strong sales/marketing leadership with a successful track record of growing market share.
  • Creative multichannel marketing capabilities together with thorough commercial business sense.
  • Due to the Brands growth, market penetration and momentum is considerable and is, and will increasingly be, a material contributor to AZ IRE contribution and revenue, the successful candidate should have a validated, recent track record in a CVRM portfolio.
