Here at Arán Bakery and Bistro, we run an artisan bakery and cafe/restaurant, specialising in brunch with a focus on seasonal and local produce.

To expand our team we are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter.

The Kitchen Porter looks after the back of house areas and assists our chefs with prepping and plating.

Main responsibilities will be:

• Operating the dish-washing machine
• Cleaning crockery, cutlery, pots & pans
• Cleaning walls, floors equipment and other areas
• Ensuring general cleanliness in the kitchen and back of house areas
• Periodic deep cleaning
• Assisting the kitchen team in kitchen duties such as, cleaning and preparing vegetables.

The successful candidate:

• Will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• A keen eye for detail
• While prior kitchen experience would be advantageous it is not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From €11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift

Work Location: In person
