Job Title : Student - Finance Support - 3 month contract

This temporary 3-month position is based within the Finance Team in Coca-Cola Ballina and is primarily responsible for supporting the verifying of fixed assets and general finance support to the wider Finance team. This role is based in Ballina, Co. Mayo and reports to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Finance team with verifying fixed assets and administering the impairment process and recording adjustments associated with those processes.
• Supporting the wider finance team in month end activities and reconciliations.
• Support the achievement of all relevant Finance Audits.

Educational/Professional Experience:

• Undergraduate studying towards a Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Career plan that includes obtaining a professional qualification in finance and accountancy.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing environment preferable.

Skill Requirements/Competencies:

• Self-starter, analytical approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP) preferable.
• Understanding of finance aspects of inventory and production transactions preferable.
• Detailed knowledge of inventory, production and management systems preferable.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
