Unity Lab Services, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, provides critical outsourced on-site services at customer locations focused on improving supply chain and research operations efficiency and effectiveness. In this position, you will support the replenishment of consumables by placing orders with Customer Service, receiving deliveries at goods in, and ensuring that the received stock is put away in accordance with health & safety and site guidelines.

The Site Specialist / Stock Controller will be focused on service delivery excellence for Unity Lab Services, based at our client's site at Grangecastle, Dublin.

What will I do?

Specific activities will include:

• Receiving and de-trashing goods at customer sites, inventory management, order management, chemical management, glassware washing and product preparation.
• The role involves using a variety of computer software programs and technology.
• There will be face to face customer interaction requiring customer service and communication skills.

Keys to Success

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or inventory role.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service.
• Operating skills to use handheld scanners and learn to enter data in various systems as necessary.
• Confident and comfortable working independently as part of a larger team.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Displays a high level of confidentiality.
• Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial but not essential.
