Job description

Home Instead are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our team of Healthcare Assistants and to support our clients in the comfort of their own home. Block hours available, 12 hour shifts, Overnights, Weekend work, Full time and Part-time hours available.

• Competitive rate of pay - €11.50 to €15 per hour (paid fortnightly)

Role of a CAREGiver (Not Limited to)

• Assisting with personal care (hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Assisting with practical tasks (light household work, meal preparation)
• Assist with transfers and mobility
• Observing and reporting any changes in health or status of the patient
• Ensure dignity, privacy and independence is maintained and always respected
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Have started/completed QQI Level 5 in Healthcare
• Have drivers licence & own transport
• Are reliable, dedicated, diligent and trustworthy
