About Us: We are a family-run business located in East Cork where we operate one of East Corks most popular family-friendly attractions in the area, offering visitors the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of animals and experience the charm of a traditional working farm.

We also create our own handmade chocolates and Ice Cream, which we sell on the farm, in several stores and in our Marina Market Stall in Cork City.

Job Summary: We seek a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our ice cream and chocolate store team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers and maintaining the store's high standards. We are looking for full-time and part-time staff. Part-time position may suit someone looking for word during the summer holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and assisting them with their orders
• Providing recommendations to customers on our ice cream and chocolate products based on their preferences
• Handling cash and card payments, including using the POS system and providing change
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking ice cream and chocolates and rotating products
• Creating visually appealing displays to promote our products and highlight seasonal items
• Collaborating with team members to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures
• Following all guidelines in preparing and selling our range of products to the customer

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a retail sales role is preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask
• Basic math skills for handling cash and card payments
• Knowledge or experience working with ice cream and chocolate products is an advantage
