We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst on a contract of indefinite duration in the IT Delivery Division. This role is aligned with the Bank Professional 3 grade and the BP3 salary scale, between €57,704 and €76,732 applies. Please click here for further information on our salary scales.

As a Business Analyst, you will build strong relationships with the business, and work with the business to define and document business requirements and provide the right level of detail to support the design, development and testing of solutions,
Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with the business and develop and in-depth understanding of business areas and their key drivers to support effective business change and provide challenge in order to enable the business discover the benefits of proposed initiatives.
  • Investigate, analyse, review, define and accurately document functional and non-functional requirements in line with agreed standards, to support the design, development and testing of technical solutions that meet the business’ need
  • Support projects or continuous delivery teams, managing requirements for a variety of solutions, including development, procurement and infrastructure
  • Work with the business, Solution Architects and Developers to identify, shape and evaluate ideas so that feasible business requirements are agreed.
  • Liaise with IT stakeholders, including Enterprise and Solution Architects, to support accurate interpretation of business requirements into technical specifications to ensure the solution designed meets business needs.
  • Support Developers and Quality Assurance in the development and testing of technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement within the team and engage in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Desirable : Professional accreditation in one or more of the following areas:
  • Business Analysis (e.g. BCS, CABA), Process Analysis (e.g. Lean Six Sigma), Project Management (e.g. PMI), Agile (e.g. Product Owner, Scrum Master)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Analysis or equivalent discipline, typically 6 years’ experience, ideally in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Solid business analysis skills including analytical thinking and requirements management
  • Ability to produce concise and accurate specifications of business needs
  • Desirable: Experience of process modelling, design and improvement / Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
  • Good verbal, written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal, stakeholder management and teamwork skills
  • Self-starter, able to deliver under pressure and to tight timescales
