We are currently inviting applications for the role of Receptionist to join our team. A positive, warm and friendly personality are essential for this role as you will be the first person to meet guests on arrival to the hotel.

All applicants must hold valid Right to Work documentation to work in Ireland in a full-time capacity and in date Visa where applicable.

Duties & responsibilities:

· Ensuring all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly and courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.

· Answering any queries from the guests.

· Dealing with ad hoc issues raised by guests and liaising with appropriate departments to solve the issues promptly.

· Carrying out both check-ins and check-outs.

· Responsible for the switchboard, answering and distributing all calls, taking clear notes and messages.

· Assisting in actively and positively promoting sales within the department and maximize every sales opportunity.

· Carrying out all departmental tasks, duties and checklists as established in the Standard Operation and Performance Manuals.

· Other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

· A minimum of 1 year’ experience of working within the hospitality or tourism sector in a customer facing.

· Reliable, dependable and flexible. This role will include weekend work.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative are essential.

· Knowledge of HotSoft PMS is a distinctive advantage, computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Cash handling experience.

· Excellent customer care and communication skills.

· Confident in Front of House role, with experience in customer service.

· Fluent spoken and written English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • 8 hour shift
