Key Functions

• Develop and test protocol software as per the specified MANET protocol, including evaluation and integration of open-source/3rd party software components as needed
• Modify the network stack (TCP/IP and higher) for wireless communication aspects (like packet loss, errors)
• Profile and optimize critical parameters like latency and achieved bandwidth
• Implement higher level security protocols

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of MANET or other wireless networks, protocols and standards (e.g. W-CDMA, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, WLAN, 4G LTE)
• Familiar with networking Protocols (e.g. TCP, IP, MANET) on Linux and other operating systems
• Excellent C/C++ programming and debugging skills
• Development work done on L3 layer OR Worked on Routing
  Protocols(OSPF,RIP,ICMP, IS-IS, BGP, SPF)
• Protocols(OSPF,RIP,ICMP, IS-IS, BGP, SPF)
• Development experience on Linux platform (keywords: Socket programming, GDB, Multithreaded programming, GCC)
• Knowledge of SCA (Software Communications Architecture) and/or model-based development using UML is an added plus
• Knowledge of scripting languages, Python is an added plus
• Possess excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Work well in a collaborative team environment Self-motivated to learn new technologies and flexible to support tasking in a variety of areas

Qualifications
BS/BE/B.Tech/MS/ME/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field 5 – 7 years of experience
