Job Description (Posting).

"The MQ /WebSphere Application Server Administrator will support activities such as software deployments and configuration management.
Responsible for the Companys development environment and infrastructure.
Administrating the WebSphere Application Server (WAS) internally and support and troubleshoot issues at the Companys environments.
Administers, customizes and supports WebSphere portal and application server infrastructure.
Implements complex infrastructure with interfaces to back-end systems using WebSphere MQ through various mechanisms
Manages all aspects of the multi-platformapplication environment including day-to-day support, database and systems administration and general troubleshooting
Supports the installation and customization of business applications and systems
Supports the cross-platform connectivity of WebSphere to other applications
Configures and integrates WebSphere to enterprise applications
Completes performance tuning of WebSphereportal and application server JVM tuning
Act as a Technical SME in MQ related areas in projects and go-to resource for solving critical technical issues when they arise.
Gather information to aid in problem determination/resolution and prepares required documentation for vendor resolution.
Work with the development staff and application vendors to determine project requirements for test/production environments as well as compatibility of upgrades, fixes, and implementation plans."
(1.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (2.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (3.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives. (4.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
