Your mission:

Perform with accuracy and timely the accounting and reporting processes in compliance with PepsiCo policies, US GAAP, Local GAAP, reporting rules, SwissCo and GCS models. Responsibilities: Your day to day with us:


  • Responsible for the validation and accounting of Other Goods & Services invoices respecting the internal and legal requirements for the 3 Portuguese Legal Entities
  • Guarantee the performance of the Company’s statutory obligations under Purchase-to-Pay responsibility namely applying correct VAT accounting, withholding taxes and seizures over payments
  • Responsible for the elaboration of the accounting, analysis and reporting of InterCo transactions for PepsiCo corporate reporting purposes ensuring compliance with USGAAP, local GAAP and SwissCo model
  • Analyses InterCo’s acquisitions of finished goods from other markets, matching the receptions with the invoices, performing elimination calculation, booking, reconciliation and Payment (Netting)
  • Address Suppliers and Intercompanies issues resolving exceptions and answering inquiries
  • Responsible for the analysis of finished goods inventories sales to other counterparts
  • Prepare and collect proper approvals for inventories write offs (raw materials and finished goods)
  • Ensure the monitoring of balance accounts under this responsibility anticipating risks on Balance Sheet Review
  • Support corporate and statutory auditors reviews providing full transactions clarifications and documentation upon request
  • Ensure full compliance on Global Compliance System (GCS), test all the Key Controls at least one time per year and implement effective remediation plan for the failed controls
Qualifications: What will you need to succeed?
  • Academic degree in Accounting, Economics or Management
  • Minimum 2 years of expertise in Accounting
  • Experience on US GAAP and Portuguese GAAP
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (SAP, Oracle, Ariba (MyBuy) and Microsoft Office)
  • Portuguese/Spanish/English fluent
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
