Job Description

The purpose of this role is to perform and support the standard financial reconciliations reporting and control activities required each month, quarter and year-end in Blackline.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivers accurate and reliable output from specific tasks during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes in Blackline;
• Prepares relevant and with high quality reconciliation reporting autonomously;
• Works effectively with the remain team members and other teams and stakeholders in other finance pillars in the DACH region;
• Through their work, assists in supporting compliance with group policies on financial reporting and internal controls;
• Supports the audit process, liaising with external and internal audit on appropriate workstreams;
• Performs the setups and maintenance of Blackline balance sheet accounts, users, and tasks;
• Initiates and assists in continuous process improvements;
• Escalates issues without delay to the Special Matter Expert and suggest action plans to get these resolved.

Qualifications

• You bring at least 2 years of specific accounting experience – preferably in a project business environment;
• You are in your comfort zone when resilience and workload balance on a high level;
• You have willingness to learn several accountings ERPs;
• You have a very detailed oriented focus;
• You are strong in communication with a high willingness to drive effectiveness and efficiency in the day-to-day processes;
• Very good English skills;
• You catch up independently with opportunities coming across your path;
• You have interest in working in a multi-market team.
