We are currently looking for a new member for the Legal Corporate team to join us in the position of Lawyer, Corporate.

Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Maia

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in English (mandatory)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Active in the Portuguese Bar Association (mandatory)

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, supplier agreements, and service agreements;
• Provide legal advice and guidance to the company on a range of corporate matters, including compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance, and general business matters;
• Assist with corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and corporate restructuring;
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, briefs, and memos;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, and business development, to ensure legal compliance and provide legal support for company initiatives;
• Manage legal documentation and records, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible;
