Job Description:

We are launching a new position for the Procurement Team at Airbus Portugal GBS!

Responsibilities - your mission

Accountabilities

The jobholder will ensure that the Procurement processes he is in charge of are compliant and continuously improved in line with business needs and quality rules. He will focus on Export control Procurement processes.

The jobholder supports the overall Airbus Procurement Processes and Governance harmonization & simplification.

The job holder acts as Project Manager / Leader to create state of the art and best in class processes through the application of project management processes, methods and tools as well as the management and coordination of the relevant Process Management Teams (PMT’s)

Main activities

The jobholder will manage & support all Export control Procurement Processes (manual update, training, interfaces...) update cross divisions. He will he will be the focal point on the ECCP (Export Control Compliance Plan) project

The jobholder will act as a document owner and will be responsible for Export control ‘process’ topics :

  • Leading and managing procurement processes & methods for the SOURCE domain

  • Leading, driving and coordinating transversally the process management team

  • Supporting the Process Owners and cross-sites / cross-functional Process Operational Managers representing Programme, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, Contract Management and Tools teams.

  • Ensuring process continuous improvement e.g. supporting or leading business improvement projects, gathering and implementing feedback from Procurement commodities operational representatives (Voice of Customers), facilitating workshops …

  • Monitoring of process performance through Process Management Review meetings (monthly for each process), KPIs definition and deployment, operations feedback analysis, best practices sharing, improvement plan, risks an opportunities plan.

  • Maintaining process Maturity level in line with process management objectives

  • Checking and managing the impact of internal (e.g. PSP Fields or Requirement) or external requirements (e.g. EN9100, ISO14001) applicable to the processes.

  • Managing interfaces to lead with other processes/domains and liaising with the relevant Process Owners or POD’s view

  • Supporting the documentation rationalization and harmonization across the business

  • Contributing and validating training and awareness material in close liaison with Procurement Academy

  • Delivering awareness sessions to internal customers in line with the scope of responsibility

  • Contributing to internal or external audits and support to closure of findings

  • Ensuring with the support of the accountable Process Quality focal point that the Procurement process complies with applicable requirements

  • Supporting Source Domain or Process Management Board reviews (twice a year) with key stakeholders

The jobholder acts as a project manager / leader for Procurement, leading cross-divisional (Airbus, Airbus Defence & Space and Airbus Helicopters) improvement and harmonisation projects

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • Master’s Degree in business or law with business experience or equivalent experience

  • Experience in Export Control Compliance or Procurement activities including exchanges with supply chain would be highly appreciated

  • Knowledge of Export Control Laws and Regulations expertise would be a plus

  • Experience in Project Management and Change Management would be highly appreciated

  • Behavioral skills: autonomous, ability to manage discussion with/challenge from different stakeholders (internal and external), ability to handle diverse topics simultaneously

  • Knowledge of aerospace products and systems would be a plus

  • English: advanced level
