The Digital Global Unit (DGU) is an area of EDP SA and its mission is to challenge the organization to think differently and go beyond, in a context of increasingly frequent and faster technological, economic and social changes, creating and disseminating a digital friendly culture, favorable to the development and experimentation of new solutions that create value for the various stakeholders of the EDP Group. To support us in this role, we intend to recruit for the HR department.



Main responsibilities:

Digital & IT People Business Partner is responsible for aligning the people management strategy in an integrated manner with teams, managers, and key stakeholders. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization:

  • Defines with EDP Digital area management the strategic people priorities, aligned with the Corporate People Plan and business specific needs.
  • Regularly prepares, presents, and discusses the main people management indicators to guarantee a global experience through the platform (Onboarding, Talent Management, Leadership and teams Development, Retention, C& B, organizational development & design etc)
  • Builds tailored made solutions focused on understanding and promoting the culture, organization, leadership, and inclusive environment.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to global business teams that provides guidelines, solutions, and recommendations in the people space.
  • Partners with cross functional teams and business units to develop the Global Communities and seeks to understand key business issues and their impact on HR.
  • Responsible for People channel on the Digital Community Management, has a strategic and global vision of people management functions across EDP Group.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or Psychology;
  • Professional experience between 3 to 8 years in a similar role;
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and ethic;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Client focus, team spirit and collaboration;
  • Analytical & multitasking skills.
