The opportunity
We are looking for Junior Consultants to join our Real Estate - Construction team in our Lisbon office. EY has an established leading real estate technical practice: we address complex issues in real estate segments and we advise our clients on technical due diligence, project management, procurement, costs analysis, engineering and other advisory services. Your key responsibilities

• Support our Construction team in strategic and operational activities;
• Support technical due diligence and urban planning analysis;
• Preparation of commercial presentations and support to drafting of reports;
• Support to Project Management activities;
• Conduct physical inspections to buildings and data collection;
• Support procurement processes and revision of engineering projects;
• Collaborate with people across Strategy and Transactions, as well as the broader EY team to support service delivery outcomes and cross-teaming.

Skills and attributes for success

• Excellent interpersonal and business skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in internal and external forums;
• Ability to work in multiple projects and effectively prioritize competing demands;
• A proactive, supportive and respectful approach to their team, and able to function under pressure but also demonstrate judgment in asking for help when required;
• Advanced report writing, analysis and problem solving;
• Fluency in business English and Portuguese is mandatory both verbal and written;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Academic education in Civil Engineering or Architecture;
• At least 1 to 3 years of professional experienced related with subjects such as: technical due diligence, quantity survey, procurement or project management;
• Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel tools;
• Demonstrate track record in solving complex problems and challenging projects;
• Background in BIM software is valued;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
