About this role
  • Supervises the overall aspects of housing services & Hotel services in Doha, which include the provision of accommodation to all levels of company employees, third parties and visitors;
  • Liaises with FMT, Contracts and Legal departments for leasing the premises to cover company future requirements;
  • Supervises housing allocation, housing movements and hotel services for interview candidates, visitors and shift cycle schedule etc. Establishes procedures and ensures compliance with policies related to the allocation of accommodation. Prepares Annual Budget and monitor, control expenditure of the Housing Section;
  • Supervises all activities of assigned personnel in the Housing Section (Doha). Performs supervisory functions and exercise financial authority at the level established by management for the position;
  • Liaises with FMT, Contracts and Legal departments on matters relating to lease of accommodation and on the terms and conditions of the standard of lease agreement;
  • Conduct site visit to the new offered accommodation to inspect/specify the suitability of the same as per company standard prior to submission of the offer to Tender Committee through Contracts Department;
  • Forecasts company requirements for accommodation for each budget year by liaising with Human Resources to obtain the estimated figures for new arrivals;
  • Implements housing allocation in accordance with established grade and status of levels and monitors ongoing procedures as established by management for housing operation including regular review of operations, performance of subordinates and periodical reports to Supervisor regarding the same;
  • Prepares the section's annual budget by assessing future needs and commitments, compares estimates against prior years, actual budget expenditures to recommend new budget;
  • Supervises accommodations occupied by third parties, if any, and approves related charges (rent and utility charges) for recovery;
  • Supervises the provision of transit accommodation, hotel reservation by approving booking forms and payment voucher for expenses;
  • Liaises with Ooredoo to arrange the provision of telephone facilities for accommodation (local and international lines).



What you need to bring
  • Bachelors in Business Administration with good communication and computer skills;
  • 5 years of experience in housing activities for a large Middle Eastern employer including 3 years supervisory experience;
  • Has thorough knowledge of Corporation's operational work sites and premises in Doha.
