We are seeking an experienced accountant with expertise in the civil industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. They will work closely with the management team to develop financial strategies and provide insight into business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, analyzing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial plans.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Oversee payroll and employee benefits administration.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the management team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on the civil industry. Knowledge of GAAP and industry-specific accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
