Overall Purpose of the Job:
To provide a comprehensive administrative service for all work, projects and programmes that fall within the field of partnerships and placements and related academic activity. The role will involve working closely with academic staff and external partners to support and review the placement and exchange schemes for postgraduate research (PGR) students across the whole of the Faculty of Humanities, supporting UKRI agendas, and in particular that of the AHRC North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP). This role will be split between the NWCDTP role (funded by the 7 institutions in this consortium) and the Faculty role (funded by the University of Manchester).
