We have a wonderful opportunity to join our warm and welcoming Team.

Your role will be to provide high quality reception duties through welcoming and greeting patients, relatives, staff, and visitors in a professional, caring and courteous manner and dealing appropriately with any enquires /complaints.

In your role as RBMS Receptionist you will provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service to the outpatient’s service for both patients, nursing and medical staff and Front of House Reception /General Enquires cover Monday-Friday 4pm-8pm Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm – Suitable for Job Share.

Your role will involve agreeing a date for our patients Outpatient appointment, as well as any cancellations and subsequent booking, over the telephone either with the GP or Receptionist using the Patient Administration System, producing appointment invitation and confirmation letters to patients prior to their appointment and to attend accurately patients’ attendance on the PAS and In touch System.

You will be expected to cash up clinics accurately and within specified timeframes, to welcome patients at the reception for clinics and ensure that the patients details, and any follow up appointments are recorded accurately and to ensure that all outpatient appointments are managed accordingly to the patients Access Policy.

Your role requires understanding and use of Lorenzo to book appointments, the booking rules in line of 18-week referral to treatment in order to comply with the trust access policy and to liaise with and greet patients, their relatives and/or carers, cancelling clinics if needs be and to book interpreters if necessary.
