Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to start a new role in Wrexham in Fostering Services.

You will be required to work directly with children and their families to support with any difficulty that they may be facing as well as prevent any breakdown in placements. The role involves supervising contact between children and their families as well as assisting families with the facilitation and arrangement for direct contact.

Flexible working is in place and hours of work can be discussed to meet the needs of the individual and the service.

This is initially a 6 - 7 month contract with the view of extending.

Responsibilities:

To supervise contact between foster children and their families.

To work in accordance with the professional practice, statutory and legal requirements and the policies of Family Fostering.

To take on specific tasks related to the day to day administration and organisation of the support work undertaken

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Experience in a similar role with SGO legislation knowledge an advantage.

Qualifications: QCF or NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (Child Care) or other relevant Child Care qualifications

Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK

Hours: 24 - 37 hours a week. Hybrid working.

Travel: Full UK driving license and access to your own car (essential)
